I've made $.35

I've had the Adsense advertising on my blog for like 6 months... and I've made a whopping 35 cents.
Personally, I think any change that was put in my pocket as a good thing.
But I read the terms for payout, it has come to my attention that a check would be cut and sent to me when the balance reaches $100.00. BaWahahaha..

My husband, ...codename Mr Smartypants, said, "Make sure it's in your Will so that our son can get it."

I think...I've decided that I'd rather get rid of the clutter on my blog.:smile:

This is MY FIRST.... I'm so giddy with joy ...that I must share my experience.

I must admit that I was a little Naive...

Quite unsure what to ask for...

I mean, IT was my First... and I didn't know WHAT to expect.

BUT to describe how it feels, this first, I'm absolutely Ecstatic...Giddy...and so ...damn Happy with what I got, that I can't wait to do it again.

This was my first commissioned comic art piece.

I wanted action, so I asked for Batman fighting Huntress. THAT'S all I wrote for instructions.

I didn't even imagine this angle, or Huntress doing a beat down on Batman(not that it's possible), but it's so cool.

I'm so so.. HAPPY!

AND he's FAASST...

I paid for it Friday,
said what I wanted,
and it was in my hands Wednesday.
We patron the same comic book store, so I told him to leave it with the clerk and I would pick it up with my comics.

If you are looking for someone who can pencil, ink, color...he can do it all. He has a lot of talent.

I had been thinking of buying a commission for a while, just to find out what it was about, and how to go about it, and what to ask for, and what to expect....
When I saw his work on the ART & WRITTER SHOWCASE , his thread is called, "The Starkoryan Sketchbook".    
I thought his sketches looked Great, then ...I found out he was a local from where I lived. I had to try him out.

I saw it as one of my... quirky...destiny kind of things.

Like....when you get a parking spot... right next to the door of a department store, I will say, 
"It's destiny...there is something here that I must find and buy."
of course... my husband rolls his eyes.


BUT you gotta admit...I was right this time.[wink]

Learning to Ride A Bike - Just Keep Pedaling

You're not really riding a bike until you take off the Training wheels, Otherwise it's just creative leaning.

Sure it's tricky and scary, and you're a little wobbly, BUT if you.... just... keep... pedaling... all is well.

The start, and the stop, need a lot of practice, but once conquered..., it's just a short step toward Trick riding.

BUT.... to do the stuff that really WOW's the crowd ..., takes a lot of time...AND you got to learn to fall..., Actually... expect to fall-- a LOT.

I guess that's true about anything that you want to succeed at.

If it's writing, drawing, music, or biking....just ... keep...pedaling...you only fail if you stop.

04/04/10 Can you talk dirty in Indigo?

I'm proud of myself for figuring out some of the Indigo language,

and while  traveling to my grandmothers for Easter,
I started poking fun at my husband by speaking in Indigo (which may or may not be correct) on how it is a bright day.
My husband spoke back in Klingon.

I don't know Klingon.
But I got the meaning,

I give him a look, "Are you cussing at me?"

He gives me a smile and starts laughing. Says something else in Klingon.
I say, "Oh... I don't want to hear it mister. You're in the dog house now. And on Sunday too!"

But this exchange got me thinking.

Can you cuss in Indigo?

It's not hard to figure out when someone is cussing in another language, ....or at least, it's not that hard for me.

But for the Indigo tribe, what would it be? Would it contain "knok knok."?
If so
my reply would be, "Who's there?"

I love Chaos
I go looking for Chaos

I search my home
I search my yard
I search my neighborhood
I search my town
Where can Chaos be found?

Is Chaos out in the world running rabid?
Could Chaos be causing harm?
Never!

Those that can't except Chaos in their lives...
Those that try to frighten Chaos away...
Cannot understand the good in Chaos.

I go looking for Chaos
I search my house
I search my yard
I search my neighborhood
I search my town
OH oh oh... Chaos can't be found.

Chaos has moved on
As it is meant to be
Out in the the universe Chaos runs free
Someday, I know I will see my Chaos back next to me.
